Childhood Days...and the special one!!!!

Those days of pleasure
Are my priciest treasure
When i had endless fun
Even under the sweltering sun

When I trace back my memory
I see a bunch of friends with a joyful me
The other friends blur in a silvery hue
and in front of my eyes, its only you

You were my pal, my friend in need
You were beside me in every deed
You brought shower to a deserted land
You comforted me, hand in hand

When I got hurt, I could see you cry
Before i could ask, your eyes were dry
Your selfless care today I unwind
I'll write everything down, from heart to mind

Our naive games of hide and seek
And completing homework at the end of the week
Maybe our games were a bit bizarre
But it was all fun with my 'LANGOTIYA YAAR'

You always jumped over me for that last chunk of chocolate
But still you remained my bestest mate
The way you innocently looked at me for sharing maggi
And the very next moment snatching the tiffin away from me!

You were an apostle of love and care
You were a soothing song, a dawn's prayer
You were the special part of my ordinary life
Whether we were together or in a strife

When I tore you apart, with my "self" above
You were badly hurt, but still flowed love
All my mistakes you did mend
When I stood straight, you did bend

I apologize for all the times,
When you had to alone sing the nursery rhymes
You were an angel, but i made your days blue
I am really sorry that I lost contact with you

But neither schools nor cities could keep us apart
Life was clever, but not that smart
Today i have got you once again back
But this time, trust me, i won't lose the track

I salute you from my heart for those childhood days
Those memorable moments, those precious plays
And I thank you for blessing upon me that relationship,
That strongest bond called "true friendship"!
