Kill the killing terror

Behold. The darkness
Smile in pain
As today our motherland
Dies again.

Shot brutally
By a mob of ten
Stabbed painfully
By neighboring men

Not a road is safe
For people to walk
Not a train is sound
‘they’ maybe in the flock

Where to hide
Where to mask
What is my fault?
The innocent asks

In his house itself
The innocent bleeds
In his house itself
The family pleads

At the site of crime
The police sleeps
At two in the night
The family weeps

One more dead
No one cares
Ten thousand bombed
They just stop and stare

A mother screams,
As she loses her son
the father quietens
holding the ashes of the only one

hundreds die
unseen and unknown
government defies
and speaks its own

Is there an end
To this ruthless killing
Can any one help
The beans are spilling

Wake up people
Raise your voice
Mumbai, jaipur, delhi
There is no other choice

Enough of bleeding
Enough of violence
Lets speak out
And break the silence

mothers, dry up your tears
fathers, muster courage
wounded, stand upright
let them face our fuming rage

Lets make an effort
Lets take a step
United we hold hands
United we march ahead

The police will stop
And the government will freeze
Our steps to life
And to peace

But we have to fight
For our motherland
Let no burials dig
In our sacred sand

Let every child speak jai hind
And unleash the youth’s might
Then we would seem as a whirlwind
Blowing hard to give terror a fatal flight!
